When or how did you start DJing?
I started DJing LIVE during 2020 — the year of the orange skies and isolation. My friends encouraged me to DJ while we started hosting our own events and music festivals!

How did you come to KXSF?
A friend of mine (shout out to DJ Jbad!) encouraged me to come to the station and get trained. I wanted to practice more, and I can say it’s really paid off.

Top 5 Favorite music/dj shows you’ve seen in San Francisco?
Jamie xx (esp at Outside Lands), Polo & Pan, Treasure Island Music Festival (especially the one held at Middle Harbor Park in Oakland), Alt-J, Tommy Guerrero at the Bottom of the Hill, and Florence + the Machine at the Masonic.

Current favorite musician/DJ?
I’ve been listening to a lot of Yuksek lately. I love the way he uses fun fills to make his classic disco vibe feel unique, while also being distinctive. There’s so much good music coming out of France right now.

Favorite bar
The Lone Palm — I love the Art Deco, chill vibe.

Favorite restaurant?
This is tough, but I’m going to have to go with the new dumpling spot Bao on Valencia, Either that, or Pakwan.

Favorite thing to do in SF that is quintessentially San Franciscan?
Sit in Dolores Park on a beautiful day, listening to good music and sharing a drink with friends. 🙂
